groove-on club funk to the fullest! mixed with slices of broken brasil bossa breakbeats, african riddims, nujazz and Bling! Due to its original instrumentation, the overdub orchestra is not only designed to authentically reproduce original 60ies Funk and jazz tunes, but of course also nowaday's nujazz, Broken Beats and electro. Ventscho, one of the finest Jazzdrummers in this part of Switzerland, Spenza, a vintage key's maniac & collector, and beatmaker for several hiphop groups, also known as nemoy (bonzzaj records) Mc45° on Vocals, and Percussion Hutti "the hu" on Bass and Arminho on electric guitar are doin' it the oldfashioned way! despite the fact, that the overdub orchestra is quite a "young" formation, the five musicians knew each other long before, and played many gigs together. Thanks to the possibilities of overdubbing, very complex instrumentations can be managed by just 5 Persons. fantastic!

founded in 2006 the overdub orhcestra already played the big local venues, and at several open air festivals.
Most interesting gig so far: the legendary Jazz festival montreux, 2007 boom!
